B Safe at College
Our flagship course teaches young adults and college students how to protect themselves when living away from home for the first time. The course covers: safety awareness, fire safety, risks of alcohol and drugs including Fentanyl, Narcan familiarization, active shooter response and administering life-saving self-care, prevention of sexual assault, self-protection, online and social media safety and other essential topics.
Audience:Â High school seniors and graduates preparing for college, new college students, and young adults living on their for the first time.Â
B Safe on Spring Break
Provides education and skills training to have a safe spring break. Topics include travel safety, hotel and Airbnb safety, risks of alcohol and drugs including Fentanyl, Narcan familiarization, avoid scams, prevention of sexual assault, and strategies to keep safe.
Audience: Anyone traveling for spring break or other trip.
B Safe for New US Residents and Visitors
Provides an overview of US laws and customs related to shopping, driving, courtesies, dining, and interactions with law enforcement, all designed to give people new to the US the confidence to thrive. The course will provide confidence and help newcomers feel acclimated and more comfortable in the US.
Audience: Anyone who recently arrived in the US.
Note: This course is only offered in English, but all students are welcome to provide their own translator who may attend free of charge.
